Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta welcome elected officials and community leaders to its annual Legislative Day at the E.W. Hagler Boys & Girls Club, providing an inside look at the life-changing impact of the organization's summer programming and year-round youth development initiatives.
As schools close for the summer, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta becomes an even more critical resource for local families. The organization provides safe, supportive environments where young people continue learning, building relationships, and preparing for their futures.
During the event, elected officials and community leaders will meet with staff and Club members, and experience firsthand how Boys & Girls Clubs is helping young people succeed through workforce readiness programming, academic enrichment, mental health support, nutritious meals and snacks, and caring adult mentorship.
Summer is a time when many young people are at greater risk of learning loss and lack access to safe, structured environments. Legislative Day provides our community with the opportunity to see the impact of these programs firsthand and understand how their support helps create brighter futures for thousands of youth across the Greater Augusta area.
