Juneteenth 2026: Celebrations Near You

Juneteenth is slowly approaching and there several celebrations around the CSRA.
Juneteenth is celebrated on June 19th and it’s a holiday marking the end of slavery in the United States.
Augusta’s Juneteenth festival will be held Friday, June 19th at the Augusta Exchange Club Fairgrounds located on Hale Street. The event will take place from 2 pm – 10pm. Admission is free, but registration is required. Click here to register and learn more.
Thomson will hold a Juneteenth and Father’s Day celebration on June 19th with special guests ATL Dream Vision. It will be from 6 pm – 10 pm at the Thomson-McDuffie County Government Complex on Railroad Street.
