Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026

The T.D. Jakes Foundation is bringing a hands-on learning opportunity to middle schoolers across the CSRA this week.

Yesterday, June 1st was the start of the free S.T.E.A.M summer camp hosted at Paine College and lead by the Imani Group, a community group here in the CSRA. This offers middle-schoolers across the CSRA an opportunity to have hands-on learning with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.

The week-long camp is made possible through the partnership with the S.T.E.A.M truck. More than 100 students in the area are building skills to prepare for an early start to their careers.
